On Wednesday October 10, 2018, a delegation from Executive Council of Businesswomen, headed by the President of the Council Maram Bint Saeed Al-Jishi, visited event "The Eastern Region is Pink," which was organized by Saudi Cancer Foundation under the motto "Cut the doubt with photograph," that to raise awareness about breast cancer. The event took place at the Al-Rashid Mall.
The delegation met with the President of the Society, Abdulaziz Al-Turki, in the presence of the US Consulate in Dhahran Rashna Kuronin, where the two sides exchanged a number of cordial talks. They stressed the need for all members of society to contribute to raising awareness of chronic and serious diseases.
The delegation was briefed on the headquarters wings and the members of the delegation listened to a detailed explanation of the campaign "The Eastern Region is Pink" that was held in order to increase the level of awareness and prevention of breast cancer, in addition to the efforts of the Society to combat cancer in all its forms and types.
The delegation members commended the efforts made by the Association and made a number of observations to support such awareness campaigns aimed at reducing the suffering caused by the disease.
